Animakee Wa Zhing is committed to providing quality education opportunities to our members. Students at Regina Bay attend school from kindergarten to Grade 12 at Bai Bom Beh School located at neighbouring Naotkamegwanning First Nation, as well as kindergarten to Grade 6 at nearby Sioux Narrows Public School, and there are also students from the community that attend schools in Kenora.
Students at Windigo Island attend the community school from kindergarten to Grade 8. High school students commute from Windigo Island to attend high school in Warroad, MN (students travel via boat/airboat/vehicle).
Animakee Wa Zhing also provides various support and financial assistance to our members who attend post-secondary educational programs.
