General Transportation Driver

    (Part-Time – Up to 20 Hours Per Week)

Animakee Wa Zhing #37 is seeking a dynamic individual to join its team as the General Transportation Driver (part time) for Regina Bay. The General Transportation Driver will assist community members who do not have access to a reliable vehicle.

General:

• Number of employees: 60                                              
• Salary Range: $20 to $25 per hour                     

Position Overview:

• Scheduling on reserve member travel.
• Driving members from Regina Bay throughout the region for general purposes.
• Maintaining interior of vehicle including cleaning and keeping it tidy, free of refuse, washing windows, wiping down seats and surfaces, sweeping and vacuuming the floors and mats, etc.
• Maintaining exterior of vehicle, spraying off and/or taking to the car wash as required.
• Ensuring vehicle servicing with dealership/auto garage is scheduled and maintained.
• Maintaining the vehicle logbook.
• Other duties as required by management.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a driver an asset.
• Present positive and professional interactions with members.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team player.
• Reliable and meet deadlines as required.
• Good written and oral communication skills are required.
• First Aid and CPR certifications or a willingness to obtain.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Clean driver’s abstract.

Must provide a clean criminal record check.
